Dr. Sharon Tolbert Fothergill

Dr. Sharon Tolbert Fothergill is a devoted servant of Christ with a lifelong calling to ministry and more than forty years of faithful service to the Church. From the beginning of her walk with the Lord, her heart has been shaped by a deep love for Scripture and a compassionate concern for people. Her ministry flows from a conviction that Christ heals, restores, and strengthens individuals through truth, prayer, and loving pastoral care.

Dr. Fothergill’s core ministry focus centers on soul care, pastoral counseling, teaching, discipleship, outreach, and prayer. She has consistently served with a shepherd’s heart—walking alongside individuals and families, offering biblical guidance, encouragement, and hope grounded in God’s Word. Her educational preparation supports this calling and includes a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development, a Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling, and a PhD in Pastoral Counseling. These foundations allow her to minister with both spiritual discernment and practical wisdom, always pointing others toward Christ as the source of healing and growth.
