Community Outreach
Our Community Outreach programs exist to meet practical needs while sharing hope, dignity, and care through Christ-centered service. Each outreach focuses on helping individuals and families build stability, provision, and sustainable living through simple, hands-on support.
The Matthew 6:11 Project — Garden Program is a practical outreach of H.I.S. Church designed to help individuals and families take a step toward daily provision through growing food at home. This program offers simple garden options, beginner-friendly guidance, and seasonal support so households can build consistency, confidence, and stability—one day at a time.
Based on season, donations, and volunteer capacity
Starter garden plan (container, small-bed, or raised-bed option)
Seeds and/or starter plants (seasonal)
Soil/compost support (when available)
Basic tools support (when available)
Short training and simple care guidance
Optional check-ins for encouragement and troubleshooting
Opportunity to share surplus produce when possible
This program is for people who want to grow food but need help getting started. We especially serve households seeking stability and self-sustaining living, including families, seniors, and individuals who are willing to learn and follow through with basic garden care.
